Motomiya Akane is a normal high school student like us. However, she was suddenly summoned into another world, "Kyo", with her friends, Tenma and Shimon. She found out that she is the priestess of the Ryujin (the god of the dragon) and possessed the power of Rujin in her body. She was asked to save Kyo from demons. She fall in love with a demon name Akuram. She did not believe that Akuram, the leader of the demon, is on the bad side until she saw witness it with her own eyes. Along with her 8 guardians (Hachiyou), she always tries her very best to become the priestess as told in the legend. She realised that the cause of the war was because a misunderstanding between the people in Kyo and also the demons and she wanted to put a stop of the war. Love is in the air among the Hachiyou as almost all of the Hachiyou feels the same way towards the priestess. It is something like a love triangle expect for the fact that it is much complicated.
